Barone di Valforte estates and vinyeards belong to Sorricchio di Valforte familiy since the XIV century and cover 300 hectares. 52 hectares are under vines in the heart of Abruzzo in between Gran Sasso and Maiella mountains.
The uninterrupted history of the family is rapresented by brothers Francesco, Guido and his daughter Annamaria Sorricchio di Valforte.
It’s up to them taking care of the historical family heritage and the tradition with the aim of trasmitt it to the new generations.
The top quality of Barone di Valforte wines is obtained mixing century of tradition and technological innovation with a minded use of french barrique and tonneau located in a very charming barrell room from the XVIII century.
