The most recent wines from Quinta de S. Sebastião, QSS Rare, were born combining two purposes: to propose vibrant and modern wines produced in an ancient terroir and to support organizations that are on the front line in the important fight against the extinction of species that are currently found threatened, drawing consumer attention to this worrying problem.
Wines produced in Arruda dos Vinhos, a sub-region of Lisbon with an ancient tradition of wine production. Our vineyards are located on gentle slopes with altitudes ranging from 100 to 250 meters. They benefit from excellent sun exposure and a slightly tempered climate by the Atlantic Ocean, which is approximately 35 km from our properties. The soils of our vineyards are predominantly clay-limestone.
