Building on the Rymill family’s history of pioneering within the Coonawarra region, our modern winemaking team has taken up the challenge to handcraft the very best expression of what the unique terra rossa soil and cool climate of Coonawarra can deliver.

The Vineyards

We believe Australia’s best Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Coonawarra, which is why over fifty percent of our vineyards are planted to this variety.

Great wines come from great grapes, and this is exemplified in our vineyards. Forty years old and growing strong. 140 hectares of sustainably grown vineyards are entirely on this precious terra rossa.
